Engine light flashes while you are on the road. Does not flash in park. It is flashing 18 times-stop-flashes 25 times-stop-flash 18 times-stop- flash 29 times. has flashed as much as 48 times in constant sequence.
Ours only flashes for 1 reasons, it means the system is FUBAR
so bad you are burning up the CAT (its in the opr, guide)
so scan it...
why not state country.....????? here in USA we have OBD2 technology,, others, not till 2001,2006, or 2010... so? worlds a big place. no?
For sure your PCM is P\'\'$$ed off. huh?
our scan tool for 3.6 has Bxxx Pxxxx and Uxxxxx DTC codes.
we use a scan tool
is the chain screaming at you?????
but no matter.
the lamp glows for stored errors, called DTCs
the FSM covers this....
See TSBs on 3.6, bad chains?
Its a half baked, 3.6 GM engine in that XL7,
with an engine like that , youd be smart to own the FSM.
why work blind with any car with and engine like that.
read here.
http://www.suzuki-forums.com/2g-2007-xl7/41420-timing-chain-problem.html
and this, part, is a shock, (its a GM license Japanese engine)
note how SUZ has bad chains... in 2007 (my guess, china chains gone wrong, surely not Japanese RK chains, no way..... at all...... ISO 9000 chains are good.
Introduction
Although the architecture for this engine begins with a General Motors North Star design, the N36A has
been redesigned from the cylinder heads on up by Suzuki engineers for application in XL7. The entire
engine is manufactured in Japan, including casting of the cylinder block. The engines are then shipped to
CAMI for installation in XL7. (USA MARKET and CANADA)
This engine is unique to XL7 and is not shared with any General Motors
products that are assembled at CAMI.
Key features to will be covered in detail in this reference book include:
• Engine mechanical configuration
• Camshaft timing
• THROTTLE ACTUATOR CONTROL system (drive by wire)
• Variable valve timing (VVT) for intake and exhaust valves
General Description
SOURCE: White Smoke From Tail Pipe/Exhaust
It often means that you are burning antifreeze. You asked if it needs antifreeze, have you noticed any leaking out of the reservoir tank while you are running it? Sometimes when the head gasket goes it will produce a passage for the antifreeze to pass from the capillaries into the combustion chamber. It is easy to check if you have an air compressor. Remove one of the rear sparkplugs and the radiator cap. Fill the radiator and then push some air into the sparkplug hole (get a good seal in case a valve is open). Repeat with all the cylinders and watch for air bubbles coming up into the radiator. If bubbles come up or fluid is pumped out, the head gasket is blown and must be replaced. It is more likely to happen at the back of the engine because it is farthest away from the fan and therefore gets less cooling. Also check your oil for discoloration. If it is a brownish color it could mean your oil and antifreeze are mixing and has the potential to damage your bearings

might be some electrical problem, because, Suzukis are mostly controlled Electronically, it may represent a malfunction!!
try contacting an electrition!!
SOURCE: flashing light on dash, circle with exclamation
hi think its brake fluid warning light if it flashes if doesnt flas then it just parking brake indicator my i reckon it first one so check brake levels if necessary top up above minimum if not theres a fault either the light it self or braking system hope this helps
SOURCE: air bag light is on and the clock is flashing what
You have probably had your battery removed? Clock you can fix by setting the time. The airbag warning light indicates that ther's a problem with your airbag. Check if the co-drivers airbag is turned on. If the light is still on, take it to the shop to be checked.
