SOURCE: Removing interior door trim '93 suzuki swift

Assume you have been able to remove window winder.
The surround of the the door handle (interior) is clip on at four points. Tabs are about an inch in from each corner and slide over a plastic nub to lock in place. . Start at top right corner. Get a small flat blade screwdriver with blade horizontal and gently - repeat gently, prise tab upwards while applying gentle pressure away from door and pushing slightly upwards. Tab should just slide off nub holing it in place. Do same for other side on top tab. Gently wriggle downwards so bottom tabs disengage. Installation is reverse.

How do you remove the passenger side rear door panel in a 2006 Fiat Punto

1 Prise out the trim cap and undo the screw securing the exterior mirror inner trim panel of door
2 Where a manually-adjustable exterior mirror is fitted, prise the rubber cover off the adjustment lever, then unscrew and remove the locking collar using pointed-nose pliers.
3 Pull the panel from its location to disengage the retaining clips. Disconnect the loudspeaker wiring connector and remove the panel.
4 Lift off the trim caps, undo the retaining screws, then remove the door interior handle surround.
5 Carefully prise off the loudspeaker grille then undo the three loudspeaker retaining screws. Withdraw the speaker from the door and disconnect the wiring connectors.
6 Undo the three retaining screws in the loudspeaker aperture, and the single screw in the oddments pocket just below the aperture.
7 Lift out the loudspeaker protective cover and withdraw the loudspeaker wiring from the base of the cover.
8 Prise out the trim cap and undo the screw securing the rear of the trim panel to the door frame of Fiat Punto car.
9 Undo the screw at the upper front corner of the panel, and the remaining four screws securing the lower edge of the panel to the door frame.
10 Using a suitable forked tool inserted between the door and the trim panel of Fiat Punto, release the press-stud clips located around the edge of the panel, then lift the trim panel upward.
11 Pull the panel from the door, noting that the lower window aperture weatherstrip is integral with the trim panel and must be released from tie door as the panel is withdrawn.
12 If work is to be carried out on the door internal components, it will be necessary to remove the plastic sealing sheet from the inside of the door. Start at one comer of the sheet and carefully peel it away, using a sharp blade to split the sealant bead, if necessary.
13 Store the detached sealing sheet such that it cannot become contaminated with dust; this will allow it to be re-used later.

How to remove passenger interior door panel?

check your armrest on the door panel, it should have 2 or 3 plastic plugs that cover the screws that hold the armrest onto the door,
these plugs can be gently levered out with a pointed instrument or a small screwdriver, also check for screws where you put your fingers to close the door when you are in the car.
if the door handle is on the armrest or the door trim you will see a x screw that holds it to the door, remove the screw
you may need to buy a set of torx drivers for removing the screws for the armrest and the door handle (Maybe)
once these are removed check for any screws around the bottom of the door trim, if there isnt any, use a flat instrument such as a knife blade or a blade screwdriver and put it between the back of the trim and the door and lever it back gently

Need to remove door panel. How?

Door Panels - REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

The many different design interiors make it impossible to list each fastener location. The trim panels that must be removed are held in place by screws and clips. These locations vary from model to model. After removal of all the fasteners that you are aware of, if the trim panel is still firmly attached, you probably missed a hidden fastener. If this happens, gently and carefully pry the area looking for the location that doesn't flex. The location that does flex is where you'll find the fastener(s) you missed. Screws and retainers are usually hidden. Handle trim, reflectors, light lenses and other plastic pieces usually cover the main retaining screws. Take great care with the plastic trim panels. Plastic trim panels are usually very hard plastic and extremely easy to crack. The following steps can be used to guide you through the removal and installation of the trim panels, but you may need to alter these steps to your specific needs.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Pull the inside door handle to the open position, unfasten the screw and remove the handle escutcheon.
  3. If equipped with manual locks, remove door inside locking rod knob.
  4. If equipped with manual windows, insert a suitable window regulator handle removal tool behind the handle. Disengage the retainer, then remove the handle.
  5. If equipped with power windows and locks, use a small flat-bladed prytool to carefully pry the switch plate up, then detach the power component electrical connectors.
  6. If equipped, remove the screws inserted through door armrest and pull handle assembly into door inner panel or armrest hanger support bracket.
  7. Lift the seat belt trim panel up and remove the hidden retaining screws.
  8. Remove the outside side view mirror trim plate retaining screw. Lift the panel up to disengage the retaining clip, then remove the trim panel from the door.
  9. On styles with courtesy lamps located in the lower area of the trim panel, disconnect the wiring harness at the lamp assembly.
  10. If equipped, use a suitable tool to pry the reflector plate from the side of the door panel.Remove bottom trim cover retaining screws, then remove the lower trim cover.
  11. Remove any necessary electrical connector CPA clips, then unplug the electrical connectors.
  12. On styles with integral armrests, remove the screws inserted through the pull cup into the armrest hanger support.
  13. Unfasten the door trim panel retaining screws. The locations of the screws will vary depending upon the year of model of vehicle. The screws are usually hidden, so be sure to look carefully to make sure you don't miss any. After all of the trim panel retaining screws are removed, slide a suitable trim panel removal tool between the door panel and door perimeter to carefully disengage all of the trim panel retaining buttons. Make sure to position the tool close to the fastener, or the trim panel may be damaged.
  14. Carefully lift the trim panel away from the door, checking to be sure all of the retaining buttons and screws and electrical connectors are unfastened.

To install:

Before installing the door trim panel, check that all trim retainers are securely installed to the panel and are not damaged. Replace damaged retainers as required.
  1. Connect electrical components where present.
  2. To install the door trim panel, pull door inside handle inward; then position the trim panel to the inner panel, inserting the door handle through the panel hole.
  3. Position the trim panel to the door inner panel so that the trim retainers are aligned with the attaching holes in the panel, and tap the retainers into the holes with a clean rubber mallet. Install all previously removed items.
  4. Install the remaining door panel components in the reverse order of removal.
  5. After installation, connect the negative battery cable, then check for proper attachment and operation of electric components, if so equipped.

Hope helps (remember rated and comment this).

How do you replace the rear window wiper on a 2006 Nissan Murano. I can not see how to remove the existing wiper.

Sure, you have to remove the outer blade by moving the plastic cover off of the mount location & then remove the nut. You'll need to remove the door trim panel once the back door is open, once removed you'll see the harness leading to the motor & the mounting bolts. once removed, it's a straight pull out & you are done. To remove the back door trim, you'll need to gently pry out the 2 lights with a padded flat screwdriver & disconnect the plug-in connector, push in on the little buttons at the bottom of the door and then pry the 1/2 " push in plugs out, (these are all reusable) remove the handle/grip by gently prying & the panel will more or less "pop" out of the holders. It's a push fit once the bottom retainers are removed. Good Luck

I need to replace passenger side mirror on 97 ford expedition

Both above answers are not right... I just replaced the Pass side power mirror assembly on my 97 Expedition. No heat, no directional.
The inside door panel must come off.
1. pry off interior triangular plastic trim piece inside of door at mirror area. Remove door panel screw at this area.
2. Pry off power window switch panel and remove door panel screw at this area.
3.Remove interior door light cover and remove screw at this area.
4. Remove plastic cover at door handle.
5. The interior door panel can now be lifted up to release it from it's fasteners.
6. Disconnect light and push power window switch assembly through the door panel and it can be set aside.
7. Disconnect mirror power at coupler.
8 Loosen three mirror mounting screws with 7/16 socket. DO NOT unscrew completely.. the will fall down the door cavity. Use a round magnet on holder to remove the screws completely.
9.Thread electrical connection into door panel and install mirror.
10. Smile when mirror works and drink a beer!
