My immobiliser keeps flashing until I put the key in the ignition and then it stops. Normally changing key batteries has a period that if the battery is changed inside that time (say 5 minutes) then the key program will not loose memory Run fault codes to see if there is a problem in the electronics. Otherwise you may have to take the car to the dealer to have the key reprogrammed to the cpu in the car
THe key has a code in it that is read by the engine immobiliser. BY removing the key and reinserting you are giving the immobiliser a chance to read the code again. Give it a try. THe battery in your key may be getting low and needs replacing.
hi not sure if this will work on pajero but worth a try ?? insert key and turn ign on only ! then press key fob lock button for 10 seconds then turn off ign and remove key wait 10 seconds thenpress lock and and unlock on remote fob if this works ? the immobiliser will have reset hopefully ? and car will start ? will keep fingers crossed for you best of luck!
