The flasher may have gone bad for the turn signal, and there may be a second flasher for the emergency flasher lights. Look and listen for a click of the flasher for the emergency flasher lights. Then, the other flasher is the one to replace.
No the dash is the hazard light switch, it's also the turn signal flasher, dealer part only replace, replacing it will fix your problem. Feel the switch when you hear the clicking.
Sounds like the turn signal flasher is going bad. The easy way to find wher the flasher is hidden is turn the turn signal on and find the clicking, that is the flasher. The emergency flashers work fine because they use a different flasher.
Try replacing your flasher. It should be located somewhere around your fuse box, under the left side of the dash. You may even have two, one for turn signals and one for emergency flashers.
it sounds like the multi function switch quit, the turn signal handle your using is the turn signal switch,it is called a multi function switch because it now also does more like your dimmer switch or cruise control.you need to remove three screws under the steering cover to get to it
did you replace the turn signal flasher or the emergency flasher? turn on the emergency flasher lights and pull that flasher if they quit working you changed the wrong one.
Test the circuit board wires on the back side of your taillights where the bulbs go in to see if power is going there with the blinker on, if yes replace the circuit board (quite common with these trucks). If there is no power back there check your flasher relays for each turn signal, assuming they dont click off and on when you tip the turn lever. if all else fails, head for the multifunction switch behind your steering wheel inside the column that your turn signal/wiper/cruise control lever is connected to.
