I have already replaced the EGR Valve, The EGR Solenoid, and the other one under the hood, EGR Evap I think it's called. A mechanic was telling me today that there is another regulator setup on the passenger side right next to the battery that has connections to the EGR set up. The label under the hood says "VRESSR" for that item. Do you know what it is? THanks, Alec

Code indicates bad EGR Vacuum Solenoid. Chilton lists possible causes below. Here's a link to the part you want. Best of luck!

My 2004 Ford Expedition just failed emissions because no voltage at the data link connector. Employee said it may be a fuse, but once that is changed how do I know if that was the problem? How do I know...

The fuse should be tie with the cigar fuse or the power outlet fuse..That should not effect emmisions..If you DONT have a engine light,,You probably will pass..But theres always a chance there is a code still there..If you DO have a engine light you will fail...When you find the fuse,,take it to autozone and have it scanned for free..That way you will know if you have any codes,,and they wont fail you at the emmisions...

1999 ford expedition p0452 code .what to inspect or part to change, thanks

Code P0452 is usually caused from leaving your gas cap loose or refuelling the truck with the engine running. Sounds rediculous I know. disconnect the battery to clear the code and try to keep the cap tight or quit fueling with the engine running.

01 Ford Expedition. Check Engine light and failed Smog check.

whoever installed the egr valve, if it wasnt you, just cleared the engine codes, thus giving you this problem once again. Get it scanned at autozone, and go from there.
