Question about 1997 Hyundai Elantra
Could someone please help me with the torque wrench settings for the motor of my 97 hyundai lantra sportswagon. also i have purchased a set of genuine piston rings, but unfortunately they do not come with any instructions eg. which ring goes where on the piston and what way up , i am ok with the oil ring just the compression rings , any help apreciated.
They use throw away bolts. One use only, so don't reuse your old ones. You will need new ones. The smaller bolts 1st torque setting 22Ft/Lbs and the larger 26ft/lbs, the 2nd torque setting 60 degrees both bolt sizes and the 60 degrees for the third.
