Check engine light on traction control light on cruise light blinking whats wrong?

When you have a check engine light come on, the traction control light and the cruise lights both come on as well. You need to have the codes checked with a scanner. There most likely isn't a problem with the traction control or cruise systems, the lights turn on because those systems work together with the engine management system or PCM. When there is an engine problem that sets a code that turns on the check engine light, it automatically disables the cruise control and traction control for safety reasons. Because the last thing you want is to have an issue with traction control and/or cruise control if your engine is having an issue, which is why they are disabled. The most common problem that turns on the check engine light is a loose, cross-threaded, or snug but not tight enough fuel filler cap. Subaru recommends three clicks of the cap to be considered tight. Also, any parts store can and will check and/or clear codes for free. I hope this info helps!

Engine hesitation

When is the last time the engine had a tune up with new spark plugs and an inspection of the ignition coils? Ignition coils were a pretty common issue with the V6 engine around that model year.

2006 subaru outback check engine light and cruise control light blinking

after this mileage the probable cause is the smoke sensor in exhaust it has to be replced and the error should be cleared by car scaner if you don't want to replace the sensor you can clean it it is located on the exhauste pipe but however you still need to visit a car technician to clear the fault from the computer log of the car

Intermittent starting problem

I don't know why you even ask a question, until
you get the codes & diagnose the check light issues

Surely you have a check light on all your vehicles
once a year, as most people do.

Any time you get a check light, things stop

You stop using the vehicle & at least get
the codes & diagnose the problem
Then you can decide if it is safe or wise to use
until repaired

If not for the check lights,I would say you don't
have fuel pressure when you turn the key on
Check that with a gauge on the engine

Check engine light on, cruise light blinks on dash

I am in the middle of diagnosing the same problem, : It means there is a malfunction in the exhaust gas system. Possible to have bad gas,(water in fuel, or old gas) or in winter "winter fuel" additives can send the O2 sensors out of whack. There is a front and rear sensor on the 2007. The front is 200 bucks msrp and the rear is 145 bucks msrp. You could pull the battery cables off then reattach 20 mn later but the code will return within a while due to never clearing, therfore eventually you will need to take the car to the dealer to have the code cleared. Or do it with a OBD2 Code reader yourself. The reason the cruise is disengaged is to prevent the car maintaining a constant rpm for long periods.(protection mode) All in all your Subaru dealer could cancel the code. but if it returns it could mean a 800 dollar O2 sensor repair bill.

2007 Subaru impreza, the cruise light is flashing and check engine light is on. Car has about 16k miles on it. No other problems are apparent.

take the auto to autozone, have them run a check engine test (its free) and have them tell you what the codes are that come up and what they mean, then you will know exactly what you have to fix

I have had the same problem but not from the oil change but a dodgy batch of fuel, try filling up with some good quality Premium fuel and the light should go out and the cruise light will stop flashing
