I have used my CD player for the first time and I was able to insert but it will not eject nor does it recognize there is a CD in the player

the dealer told me not to use burned cds to long in the cd player. the cds are a little thiker then a regular cd. i had to not use the cd player for a couple of days. once the cd cooled down it cam back out and i havent had a problem since. Solution dont let burned cds get to hot

If it does the same thing with other CD's then the mechanism inside the radio will need repaired. The dealer can send it out to be repaired or you might ask if the have a "take out" unit of the same model when another cuatomer may have upgraded their system.

If this a CD with a paper label, sometimes they will peel up on the edge and not allow the CD to eject or in same cases the CD is slightly warped.
One thing you might try is this..... Get a flash light and try and look into the CD slot when the radio is trying to eject. There is a black felt type material that you can lift up slightly and if you can see the disc edge trying to come out it may look like it is very slightly too high and getting caught. You can take a business card and try and slide it above the CD edge from the side and this will get the edge of the CD to come down and eject. This has worked many times for me anyway.
