Where is the water pump located on a honda ascot G20A engine... 1994?

engine oil will be 20w-40
the transmission oil will be atf 4 or if it is a CV transmission a special oil (not ATF)

unlike my JK jeep.
there are many steps..... to do this right,
plan a lost weekend. DIY.

this is not your exact model or engine (unstated)
but shows you the level of complexity.
do the cam, belt and WP together ,because they both have same life spans, max 100k. see that? if you dont , you get to loose 2 weekends
or on honda, the pistons bend over, all valves, in the head, BOOM $$$$$ , almost no limit to damage. even whole engine lost.

The water pump is located underneath the timing belt cover, on the drivers side of the engine. To swap the water pump, you need to remove the timing belt cover, timing belt, and the timing belt tensioner. I usually tell people that this can be done in a day, but sometimes not ! Also, all of the other drive belts , such as Air conditioning and the alternator belt all need removed too.

the water pump is run by the timing belt.so behind the timing belt cover!

The water pump is on the drivers side of the engine behind the timing belt. I had to have the dealership replace mine. My Dad is a mechanic and wouldn't touch it.
