where is gear handle try get in side and spray on cable with WD40.turn on do not start try to move slowly by hand.

1) see the diagram and test
2) see the following test, for better diagnosis.
3) test the fuse see the diagram

sounds like switch might be bad.. replace the switch if its not tripped and clear any codes in the pcm

Jack the car up find the oil releas bolt which will be on the bottom of the oil pan. put an oil catcher undernieth that bolt then take it off. wait about 3 minutes for all oil to leak out reinstall bolt and put new oil in the motor.

Make sure the wires to alternator are correct and also check all your fuses you may have shorted the power wire or not connected all wires to power stud on alternator or by fluck your pump went bad.

ran it without oil stoped shut it off now it wont start it cranks all day but dont start

Josh, Did you output the car's diagnostic codes before you reset the computer?
Just to confirm: your car has the "FS" engine - 1991cc double overhead cams?
built on the Mazda "GE" platform?
does your car have an "engine check light" or "MIL" on the dashboard? if so where and what does it look like and what does do ? ie: comes on when ignition is turned on & goes out after engine starts. or comes & goes out after x seconds. etc etc
are you 5sp manual or auto trans?

does your car have a diagnostic plug with a flip open lid just behind the battery near the front left suspension tower?

Sounds like a bad IAC (idle air control valve/sensor) that controls your idle when going from throttle to idle. If bad your idle will act crazy and can cause stalls easily. Pretty sure that's it.

duck tape on the air intake. I just fixed mine. There is a crack on the intake that lets too much air in when you put it in drive that makes the car stall. Try it it works.
