SOURCE: Cigarette Lighter

Yes there is a fuse corresponding to this which has cut off. It is located in the car under the driver frontage.

Good luck.

SOURCE: cigarette lighter won't work fuse ok lighter base ok

I would put a red volt meter lead on the middle and a the black lead on the outside. If it checks above 12 vols, the lighter itself is bad. If no voltage is present, you have to check all the positive wires back to the battery. If those are all working, you have a bad ground.

SOURCE: cigarette lighter does not work

This is Fuse 32 under the hood in the fuse box. I had a problem with this fuse as well. I don't smoke so didn't care when I first realized my lighter didn't work, but my check engine light came on and when I took it to get the engine code read, the part they connect to under the dash (ODBII) would not give them a code. I left the store not knowing why my check engine light was on and annoyed there was another problem to fix. After a few hours of troubleshooting with my Dad, we figured out the same fuse that controls the lighters is the same one that powers the OBDII system, and Onstar as well. I hope that info helps someone else.

The lighter socket or the element.
Check the element for burn marks and the socket for debris blocking the contacts.

Cigarette lighter ans accessour power point not working... it's not the fuse

I had a similar problem I thought it wasn't the fuse because I had only checked one but there are two cigarette fuses. Also you can replace the whole cigarette lighter if it is getting power to it. If it isn't there might be a bad wire leading to it. Get a test light to see if it's getting power through the fuses hole.

WHERE IS FUSES FOR CIGARETTE LIGHTERS LOCATED

Should be under the steering wheel like any other car. There is a box. Just open up the box (You may need to pry off the cover with a flat head screw driver). I own a 91 Explorer and there is a diagram right on the back of the cover along with a fuse pulling tool. The owners manual will also have a diagram. Look for the terms "Accessory", "Lighter", "Socket" etc. Any Ford I've ever seen supplies power to the cigarette lighter even when the car isn't running so it will be easy to test.

How to open the hood on a 2005 suzuki forenza with a dead battery

I know this isn't a standard "fix" but what we do is to use a cigarette lighter to cigarette lighter jump start.

While this type of "jumper" doesn't work very well to start a vehicle, it does get you power enough to open the hood and other electronic openers.

Trying to find fuses for cigarette lighter

it should be in the fuse box under the hood or under the dash, if you can't find it there it may be at the back of the cigarette lighter itself, if the cigarette lighter isn't working it may be the element, try plugging something else into the socket to see if there is power there....hope this helps.....cheers

Need replacement cigarette lighter

You need to get at the back of the socket (female part) to unthread the nut that holds it in. These are sold at any auto parts store, and are kind of common. Replace the socket and element both.
