Wiring diagram 1965 chevelle el camino tail iights no power to tail lights if i jump red hot wire to brown wire at light swicth they will work
Those are the right wires, so the switch must be broken. Do you need instructions for replacing it?

Fuse should be under dash on left side. Providing that there is power there and power at the signal switch (and bulbs are good) likely there is a problem in the signal switch.
