Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement
Removal Procedure
Turn the ignition OFF.
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield to obtain access.

Crankshaft sensor on a 2000nissan xterra where is it located and how can it be replaced

crankshaft position sensor location for 3.3 V6 engine is mounted at the rear of the engine on transmission bellhousing, the 3.5 V6 engine crankshaft sensor located at front of the engine on the aluminum oil pan section below crankshaft pulley.replace the crankshaft position sensor remove heat shield disconnect the electrical connector the remove sensor retaining bolt then remove crankshaft sensor.after replacing crankshaft sensor you need to erase code if check light come back on.

Replacing the crankshaft an camshaft position sensors an also where they are located on a 2000 chrysler concorde lxi 3.2 lit eng

they are behind the cam shaft gears you have to remove then and put the car back in time you might want to go down and get a book to show you timing marks

Where is the crankshaft position sensor on a 2003 chrysler concord lxi

Its located on the passenger side of the engine,back side of engine mounted in the back of the block above the flywheel.

Where is crank sensor located

v6 's is by the frot crank shaft area & 4 cyl engines are on the blocks mid way lower area near the oil pan

2001 concorde dont start

Check the cranshaft position sensor located under the timing cover. Also check the camshaft sensor located near the camshaft.

It is on the rear of the engine, passenger side. You need to access it from the underside and it is halfway up the block between the head and the oilpan. It is real close to where the engine and transmission meet.

* The sensor is mounted in a fixed position in the engine block. The tip of the sensor protrudes into the crankcase at a distance of 0.05 plus or minus 0.02 inch from the crankshaft.
