You may need to diconnect the power lock button on the driverside door by prying it out (with the window controls). Problem may be in the switch or a short in the wiring. If this is not it, it may be in the door switch on either the drivers or passengers door.

Check the locking solenoid / actuator in the door behind the panel, could be burned out or loose wire. It should take about 20-30 minutes to open, fix it and close the door panel if there's no major problem. Autozone might be able to help out with a solenoid.

My wife is in San Francisco on business right now. She is driving this vehicle as a rental and found out that the trunk can be opened after you have locked the car the hard way. Her luggage and computer was taken from the trunk because of an outer trunk release button that you can access. Nicely done Nissan. Thanks. (sarcasm)
