Where does the fuel line connect to the engine?

On most engines, fuel from the fuel line enters the carburetor's fuel bowl, a reservoir where a float, similar to the float ball in a toilet tank, regulates the fuel level. From there, a metering device called a jet lets fuel into the emulsion tube inside the pedestal, where fuel and air first mix. (Older models include an adjustable jet; newer models contain a fixed jet.) Fuel travels through the emulsion tube to the main passageway in the carburetor, called the throat or venturi, where further mixing occurs.

My chevrolet tacuma 1.6 ltr is consuming fuel, what could be the cause.

Consuming fuel? You now have poor fuel economy? I would start with a tune up. What year is it? Any check engine lights? Does it idle and drive fine

My jeep wan't say runing

It is a fuel problem, check the fuel filter and the fuel pump. You don't say if it is carb or injection. Check the needle and seat in the bowl and the jets for blockage, especially the main jet as it could be running on the idle jet only.
