2.4 liter DOHC L4 VIN "T" 2001 Oldsmobile Alero
3.4 liter V-6 VIN "E"

FIRING ORDER IS 1 2 3 4 5 6

back of engine is 1-3-5 front is 2-4-6. coil order is 5-2-3-6-4-1 all numbered from passenger to driver side

I do not know if you have the 2.2L or 3.4L Engine. I have included firing orders for both below.

Spark Plug Gap = 0.044 in.
14 mm thread, 18 mm reach, 5/8 in. hex size,

For the 2.2L:
Firing Order:
1-3-4-2
Cylinders:
(back of engine)
1-----2------3------4
(front of engine)

For the 3.4L:
Firing Order:
1-2-3-4-5-6
Cylinders:
(back of engine)
2-----------1
4-----------3
6-----------5
(front of engine)
Ignition Connections:

Not by the numbers on the coils,Those are only for cylinder identification to know where the plug wires go,
your firing order depends on what size engine you have.

i am guessing you are talking about a 2.2 liter ?if so the firing order is 1 3 4 2
