I have a 1995 dodge neon highline and when you go to start it it takes several tries before it finally catches and starts.another thing is when you take off down the road and get to about 50 to 55mph it starts cutting out and sputters and acts like it is losing power we replaced the oxygen censor but it still does it i was wondering if it was the main computer or if anybody knew what kind of censor it could be or what the problem is

first thing you need to do is to have a code check done. That can point you in the right direction. O2 sensor is the least likely cause as they generally react to a problem more times than they cause one.
Aside from electronics, I'd change the fuel filter...likely you don't remember the last time that was done.
i know this was years ago but i was wondering if you figured out what was wrong with your neon. im having similar issues
