Driver side window stuck on Nissan Maxima 2004

The driver side window on our nissan maxima is stuck. I cannot roll down the window. Sometimes I can roll down the window but it get's stuck again and cannot roll back up. After it gets stuck, I usually have to open and close the door for the window to work. There is no noise from the motor or the switch when closing/opening the window but it is really slow to open/close. I dont have any issue with the other 3 windows. Any help will be much appreciated.

It is likely the window motor is wearing out and will need to be replaced. You can always try a different switch on those wires to rule out switch problem. Otherwise, the motor will have to be replaced.

Your window is probably still on track but the window regulator is shot and will need to be replaced if the glass moves freely and the motor spins without moving the glass.

chances are your window regulator just broke on you. usually the plastic clips break off. Im not sure if you can just replace the plastic clips or have to replace the whole regulator. go into a nissan dealer parts dept and have them pull up a diagram of the drivers window. it will give you a very good diagram of what the regulator looks like. hope this helps!
