Saab 9-3 2.0T Aero 2004 Left Passenger Window

Hi,
Just thought i Saab 9-3 2.0T Convertiable Aero, the Left Passenger window lowers and rises from the Passenger door switch, but from my drivers do it only rise the passenger window not lower it.
Suggestions? is if the drivers door switch faulty? but even though the window wont lower i can hear a clicking noise on motor? so its been fed power? but if the motor was faulty why would the passenger switch lower and rise the window?
Regards
Dan

We know the window regulator is good, including the motor and track. The fact that you hear a noise when depressing the driver side switch tells me that there is an open wire (ground side). It could be the the switch on drivers door or the wiring in that circuit. I would ride down an extremely rough stretch of road with my finger holding down the passenger window switch on the drivers side. If it inches down then your open will be a high open where the wire will only be barely seperated. If not the seperation will be a true open. It is usually fairly easy to swap a window switch, just to be sure the open is not in the switch. Hope this helps........Tennis123

Locate the TCM for a Saab 2002 Aero

Hi,
The TCM on the 9-5 Aero is located behind the glove compartment.
Remove the under panel on the passenger side, and look up behind the glove compartment - the TCM is clipped onto the bulkhead.
Please remember to dicobbect the battery BEFORE removing the module.
Total time to replace the module - 10 mins!
Good luck

Green hydralic liquid coming from convertible top saab 2004 9-3

You are probably leaking hydraulic (ATF) fluid.
Check the lines and cylinders for leaks. Replace any leaking lines or cylinders. Always replace them in pairs.
When the leak is fixed...
Behind the rear seat is the motor/pump/reservoir.
With the top down, fill the reservoir with ATF.
Cycle the system a few times.
Repeat till the reservoir will accept no more fluid.
You can change it to a manual top by removing the bolt at the top of the cylinders and lowering the both shafts down into the cylinders.

I have a 2004 9-3 and the passenger side window, mirror and lock don't have power the fuse is good. Any ideas? thanks Kim

This is common. Try disconnecting the harness at the door connector (by the door check and hinges) and then reconnecting the connector. Test. Still and issue, disconnect the battery's negative battery connection. If that doesn't do it, you will have to go to a Saab dealership with a Tech II and have them update the software for the Passenger Door Module and re-add the Module in programming.

Top lowering problem on 2004 Saab Aero Convertible

I have a 2004 Saab 9-3 Arc convertible that had the same problem. The spring on the hinge assembly for the package shelf latch assembly was broken. The part itself is over $300. If you have someone remove the spring, your top will work again. You'll just have to put up with the top shelf hanging down in your trunk about 1 foot, but you can still manually move it to place things inside like your luggage or golf clubs.

Where is it located to add transmission fluid in 2004 saab

You have to unbolt the distick to check the fluid. Its on the lower, front side of the drivers side, left of the battery and straight down, behind 2 hoses. My dipstick is green (Aero) and is easier to remove from under the car.
