there are two models off fuell pomps ,one electrik and one mecanical mostly electonical sits near fuel tank and mecanical near engine.for the mecanical is mostly chaft thats bin broken.for electronical see if you get power on,if you have power,its the membraam is leaking.set new in.
if you changed selinoids i hate to say it but i think its toasted. but before dropping the cash on a new ****** i would go to the nearest chevy dealer and have it put on the computer. this way if when they update your software it doesnt fix the problem you need a ****** shop. my hummer set for nearly six months and when i started driving it again i thought my ****** was toast, it would go through all the gears but slipped like no other, i went online and bought a superchips programmer and all was well again. somtimes the computer just needs kicked in the ***!

well i hate t tell you this but!! i seen this happen many many times >>air bags are a huge market!<<< people steal them all the time and sell to body repair shops cause it's big!! money!! and wouldnt be the first time i seen a detail shop rip one out of someones vehicle and put a used or bad one in it's place just to make $90-150 bootlegging yours for pocket cash
are you getting power to the starter if not the cable may be bad or a fusible link or if it cranks over but does not start it may have been bumped in say a parking lot causing the fuel shutoff switch to disengage find the yellow handle and pull it to reengage it allowing fuel to return to functionality
however it sounds like a blown fuse or a bad cable or ground or all of the above use a test light for power to the red +positive lead on the starter if none is present check the fuses one is for the crank. also it may be the cable GRRRR i hate it when i cant be there myself so please bear with me and check those areas first as well it may be the ignition switch lets go with these first and let me know if any changes are there or found from where power begins and ends etc ..thank you
