I just bought a truck ive already replaced all sensors andd still cant find whats wrong. The problem is that when i crank my truck it runs fine. However, if i rev it up to 2000 RPM and let off it will die, but if i rev it higher and do the same thing it will act as if its dying and then hesitate, and stay running. It dies when i come to stops and ect. I'm getting p1756 and another code 1757. Butboth are tranny problems and my truck runs great and switches gears fine i dont think its my transmission? HELP!
Right check the engine breather pipes i think their perished and its sucking in air ,forget the tranny codes as this is caused by the idle problem
Testimonial: "ive checked them already. replaced 2 of them and the rest looked great but its still doing the same thing that didnt affect my trucks performance at all. any other ideas man?"

I have experienced this problem on similar vehicles. You should try and replace the coolant temp sensor. If it is not reading the correct temp to the ecm, it will not get the right fuel map. Also, the cts will not always throw a code.

if the battery voltage gets low the computer will lose its memory...the idle air control is not ure what to do.. drive the vehicle for a while ...you may have to 2 foot it but eventually it should idle

try replacing the coil, my 2.5 did the same thing, and after changing plugs, wires, distributor, rotor, rotor button . the last thing i repalced was the coil and i have not had an issue since. all work was done about 6 months ago.
