How to replace a transmission on a 1993 plymouth sundance
many would think that this is a hard task, but it really isnt, all you need, is to sufficiently lift your vehacil to be able to get underneath it, disconnect your gas pedals from the transmission, via the engine bay, remove the exhaust system, disconnect the starter motor from the bottom, and take out all the bolts holding the trasmission in place, there should be a mount about in the center, connected to the trasmision which is what is mostly holding it in place, then gently move the trannsmission down and towards the back of the car, little by little, if it is a manual, u will need to disconnect the slave sylinder, then take your new transmission, and just follow the steps in a reverse order, finishing with connecting pedals. this is pretty easy, taking into account that a handful of highschool students(including me) removed the trasmission, clutch and flywheel, and replaced all of those in a matter of days(only 2 school hours a day).
