Code P0734 4th gear incorect ratio
code P0733 3d gear incorrect ratio
code P0700 Trans. control sys. (MIL request)
5 months ago had a trans. oil leak from solenoid added 3qt. then 1 more over a three week period. it dripped on exh. somewhere and stunk for two weeks then stopped. No more fluid needed. I checked every three days to make sure. It has stayed topped up.
Today on flat road, it popped out of gear and as motor revved it blew out dust from muffller. kAfter that I had only 1&2d gear. I drove it six miles home with no odd or straining sounds anywhere. Check engine light revealed codes
wondering if adding this to my oil caused an overfill of fluid and caused this code, car is running fine other than that codewondering if adding this to my oil caused an overfill of fluid and caused this code, car is running fine other than that code

P0700 means transmission control fault detected, either it is mechanical or electrical. This code is a generic code, you will need a enhanced code that mean a manufacture scantool or a scan tool that can read enhance code.

p1781 is manufacturer control transmission, p0731 is gear 1 ratio incorrect, p1784 is manufacturer control transmission, p0700 is trans, control system malfunction. all of these codes refer to tranny. This code normally points to a faulty transmission control module, but this is an expensive part and you should have an experienced Dodge technician diagnose the problem first. or a transmission specialist. the other codes are probably associated with the p0700 code. have a good day !
Having owned a trans shop in the 1990's,I would get ride of it
80% of my work, was Caravans transaxles.
Very unsafe vehicle,in the event of an accident, all van type vehicles are.
P0700 Transmission Control System (MIL Request) P0730 Incorrect Gear Ratio The gear ratio has to do with how many teeth there are meshing with another gear in the transaxle.
You need to find someone who can pull the codes from the transmission and see what kind of trans fault it is. If there is a fault in the trans the controller will put it into limp in mode which is 2nd gear locked. Won't shift out of 2nd...You need to pull the codes and see if it is internal in the trans or an external sensor-Good Luck
DTC P0734 is "4th gear incorrect ratio" - that's your torque converter 'LOCK UP Clutch" It's worn out (or you're using the wrong Trans Fluid required by Hyundai - SPIII OR Both). The P1624 is simply the Trans Control Unit (computer) communicating to the Engine Control Module (ECM computer) MIL - on request signal to ECM = asking it to turn on "Check Engine" light. MIL = Malfunction Indicator Lamp. When the torque converter 'lock up" clutch slips or doesn't engage, the trans automatically returns to 3rd gear and stays there (it's called 'fail safe' mode) until you cycle the ignition key, then everything resets until the malfunction occurs again. You'll need to have an AT (Automatic Transaxel) tester hooked up to verify this. Hyundai has a Service Bulletin specifically for "gear incorrect ratio' codes. If when you changed the trans fluid, was it done at a Hyundai Service Center? If not, someone may have installed the wrong fluid.

Here is the deal, u have some serious transmission related faults, in order to sort this out u will need to take this to the dealer, allot of testing is required to get to the bottom of this, if I had to guess I would say the trans is going to have to be overhauled.
replace the input speed sensor to transmission and the wiring pigtail all are available at your chrysler dealer take your vehicle registration in to the parts counter so they have your vin # to get the right part and it is the front of trans by fluid linres to radiator.
First check and make sure the fluid is full. The most likely cause is a failed solenoid pack. Circuit codes normally mean something electrical not mechanical has failed. The solenoid pack is on the outside of trans pretty easy to replace.
