I believe i blew my stereo fuse as it will not turn on, and i did check to see if the wires were providing power (which they werent) and i cannot locate the fuse. Any tips will be appreciated...i checked both fuse boxes and neither had a "stereo fuse" unless it is called something different.
If its a blown fuse in fuse box its probably a 15amp. Sometimes radio is tied in with things like dome light, lighter or horn.
Often, aftermarket units will have a separate fuse in the power supply line in the center console or dashboard.
To check, pull out the stereo (you may need to buy a couple of cheap "DIN removal tools", though you can sometimes fake it with a couple of small screwdrivers) and examine the wiring.
If the fuse did blow, the next question is why, so look for any wires that have come loose and are contacting things they shouldn't.

You are correct on checking the sterio, just 12+ and ground to see if it powers up. Fuse 25, in your fuse box should be numbered. If not, just pull them one at a time to see which one got fried.

drivers side under the dash under a cover.or on the side of the dash behind the driver side door under a cover( Covers just pop off) tricky if youve never seeen one before. hope this helps. changing the bulbs is easy too. once you locate the other side of the brake lights in the trunk you just twist the connector and the bulb and socket will pop out. make sure you pull out the right bulbs. pull them out then try the brake if they dont work you know thats the bulbs. but yes check your fuses first.

SOURCE: cruise control will only engage
I don't usually say this but. Have a mechanic check it out.. Cruse control could be very dangerous if it is not working properly. If all the safety fetchers are not working it could get stuck on..

OH GEESH -- PLEASE RE-read your question,. I think you are MISSING DETAIL.... oooopsie...
Light BOLTS = Light BULBS??
Are you asking about brake LIGHTS?
If so check the brake light switch at the pedal,. the fuse boxes are under the hood.
