SOURCE: 1995 mercury mystique starter replacement process?

At first, it looks like an impossible task, however if you start by removing the positive battery cable, then unplug mass air flow sensor, carefully remove air filter box and its components from the throttle body. from there you should be able to see the starter better and have more room to work and get it out. You can take the battery right out if you want a little more working space for your elbows. take the wires off the solenoid, sometimes the old studs of solenoid will break due to corrosion. remove the two 13mm bolts that hold the startersome models have one at the bottom also that you will need to access from the bottom side.

We have a 1998 mercury mystique, it needs front wheel bearing replaced, is there a video out there that can help ?

You'll need special tools to re seat the new races in the hub. The old races can be pushed out with a brass drift and a hammer. Same for the seal.

How to replace front wheel bearings in a 2000 Mercury Mystique?

Travis, this Mystique has sealed wheel bearings, you do not pack them with grease. You cannot even access the bearing. If you are not familiar with a car, you do not know if you are giving correct directions or not.

Does a 1996 mercury sable and 2001 ford taurus have the same engine

Its possible. In this time span Ford used two different motors, the overhead valve (OHV) Vulcan V6, and the Duratec 24V V6, which will bear the 24v DOHC badge on the front fender.

1995 mercury mystique

you almost never need to reset timing. To do it, you remove a timing "jumper" block which disconnects the computer from the distributor. Then, you can check "base timing" with a timing light. It should be 10 degrees. Then, during computer self test, it should jump to 27 to 33 degrees. You need a "Star Tester" to do this part.
