94 Toyota Tercel DX. 4 door

94 Toyota Tercell DX. 4 door Where is the fuse for the cigarette lighter? I was putting air in a tire with a portable air compressor that runs off the cigarette lighter and the compressor stopped. The cigarette lighter no longer works it will not get hot. I checked all the fuses under the drivers side dash, next to the battery none of the fuses were broken. I even looked for a fuse on the passenger side but there was none. How can I get my cigarette lighter to work again. I dont smoke but I would like to be able to run a portable emergency aircompressor again. Thanks for your help. The cigarette lighter has worked in the past. my fuse is not the problem, i've checked it and replaced it just to be on the safe side. my cigarette lighter will not work and i would like to be able to charge things so i bought an auxiliary power source but i dont know how to wire it. i want to put it in my cigarette lighters old home.

SOURCE: 94 Toyota Tercell DX. 4 door

did you use a test light this would be the primary source for an accessory not to work unless the wires to the connector on the back side of the lighter itself has come undone or it may very well be the ground to it you need to visually inspect it a mirror may be of assistance to have a look if you cannot bend under neath the dash maby you can remove the ashtray to better view it

Used cigarette lighter to inflate tire, left inflater on for a long time now cigarette lighter doesn't work and car doesn't always start

It sounds like you might have drained your battery! When the car is running does the Cigarette lighter produce power? It should be working while the car is running. That would also explain why the car starts sporadically. Try leaving the car on for 40 minutes. That might charge the battery enough.

Where is the fuse box for the cigarette lighter of a 2006 Toyota Highlander?

In the 2006 Model the Cigarette lighter is located behind the small compartment on the drivers side dashboard left of the steering wheel. Simply lower the compartment door (Fuse box cover) and remove it to access the fuses. Jul 2010

When i come to a stop ,the car cuts off when i begin to go.It takes several attempts at starting the car before it will run again. I have tried spraying intake cleaner into the carb. but problem still

find the other end and you may use a wire connector or a wire connector
{ blue} push together clamp style or even just trim back the wires and twist together and use electrical tape to join them

Power Socket not working

check your fuse if thats good take a test light or voltmeter and see if you have any power to the socket. If you don't have power you will need to remove your radio and see if the wires are connected to the socket.

No power to cigarette lighter/power outlet (front & rear)..

Replace the 15 amp ACC fuse that is in the fusebox under the dash. See if this eliminates your problem.
