You bought from Autozone, and now you have to splice, look at both and use the same wires from old pump to new one, look at both connectors and do it the same as in both plugs..

THAT IS JUNK TOO,STILL HAVE TO SPLICE WIRES,GET OEM FROM DEALER'.PLUS THEY WON'T LAST LONG.IF YOU HAVE TO SPLICE WIES,YOUR IN FOR TROUBLE,BUY RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.
Sometimes ,on certain parts it's best to get original parts,I have a 85 Nissan 720 4x4,had her for 22 years, she's in mint conditiom, with 330,000 miles, put a jasper engine in it,which has 48,000 miles, had no problems, have put 2 fuel pumps on it,use dealer pumps and have to do no splicing, here's a video on it,you get what you pay forhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5Fe9N0q...
that post is antique. Jan 17, 2014
im sure it's not sitting for over a year.
and isuzu bugged out here, parts hard to find from ISUZU real. (long waits in mail too)
i posted the pinout to the pump.

SOURCE: wiring diagram for 01 isuzu rodeo stereo
A few weeks ago I bought a new JVC stereo for my 2001 Isuzu Rodeo. I was advised that using a wiring harness would be the best option to install it. I spent an entire Saturday going from one store to the next (Autozone, Advance Auto Parts, Radio Shack, etc.) looking for the wiring harness specific to an Isuzu Rodeo but, to no avail. I searched several online sites looking for one and finally found it at http://www.beachaudio.com/ . The cost of the harness was under $10 and with express shipping I only paid about $20. Since I ordered it on a Wednesday night with 3 day express shipping, I assumed that I'd receive it the following Monday given any processing time and the weekend but, it was delivered to me just two days later. My husband installed my new stereo that Sunday using the harness that I purchased and it works great! Hope this information helps.
