Jun 30, 2013 - The O2 sensor (only one) on you chassis is located at the end of the "Y" pipe, just in front of the resonator. It is mounted on top of the pipe.

The 1st sensor is located closest to the engine and the last is located at the rear of the exhaust system. Generally, if we are talking about O2 sensors: Sensor 1 = Before Catalytic converter Front (Upstream O2 sensor) Sensor 2 = After Catalytic Converter Rear (Downstream O2 sensor)

Usually these are located on the exhaust manifold or just below the exhaust manifold and you should be able to see it in the engine bay. On V6 engines there will be one sensor on each of the 2 exhaust banks.
You will probably need to remove the engine cover to see the sensors on your exhaust.

If someone told you to replace these because you got a particular fault code I would be wary. A decent scan tool and basic diagnostics can show if the 02 sensor is working or not. Some faults often blamed on an 02 sensor are not due to faulty sensors.

Bank and sensor location. Bank 1 refers to the back of cylinders that contain cylinder #1. Bank two refers to the other bank of cylinders that do not contain cylinder #1. Sensor 1 refers to the upstream O2 sensor or the O2 sensor before the catalytic convertor. Sensor 2 refers to the downstream O2 sensor or the sensor located after the Catalytic convertor. On almost every car, there is an O2 sensor located in the front, on the exhaust pipe, or manifold, and there is an O2 sensor located after the Catalytic converter. The front O2 sensor is the most important because it monitors the air/fuel ratio. The rear O2 sensor checks your Cat converter for proper operation and filtering.

The O2 sensor is located in the exhaust pipe prior to the catalytic converter. You'll have to get under the vehicle to see it or replace it.
