Poss. Causes:
A code P0303 may mean that one or more of the following has occurred:
Poss. Solution(s):
If you are not having any of the above problems, then I would recommend resetting the code and see if it comes back.
If you experience / notice the engine is stumbling or hesitating, check the condition of the Spark Plug wires and boots. I would suggest spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor (if applicable). Otherwise, check the coils (a.k.a. coil packs). In some cases, the catalytic converter has gone bad. If you smell rotten eggs in the exhaust, your cat converter needs to be replaced. Another possibility could be faulty fuel injectors..
Good luck. I hope this helps.

i had asimiliar misfire on my 2000 windstar.the first thing to check is a broken valve spring by taking off the valve cover the other is a o2 sensor bank 2 i believe is the downstream.if not the valve spring then either the coil pack or thecontrol module. either way it is fairly inexspensive

Have you tried new Spark Plugs? Also after removing the plugs.
Take a paper towel and roll it up so it is like a long thick pencil. Stick that down the hole the spark plus came out of. Just to clean the moisture out. Also blow some compressed air down the hole.
Make sure all the moisture is out. The put the plugs in.
When you wash you car. Be careful if you wash the engine.
Dont let water get in to the plug holes..

add injector cleaner. if your car has sat at allfor a little bit of time then more than likely your injector is a little sticky. just add the injector cleaner then fill the tank if problem doesnt go away the look into other things
