I have a 2005 Impala and A few months back my service traction control light came on while I was on dry pavement, but quickly went off. Every once in a while now, my traction control light comes while on dry pavement. Now when I make left hand turns I get vibtration and when I have passengers in the car I get the vibration all the time and it seems like I have less trans power. I've had my axle, hub and wheels checked and no one has a solution. My car was also put on a lift while it was running and the wheels were turned left to see if there was any wheel wobbling and there wasn't.
The car must have the the weight of car on it to check for bad wheel hub but then you can only guess if there bad but it would be a good idea to prabably change hub, if light is coming on on dry pavement..check all wire connections to the hub first to make sure nothing is has loose connections. also have them put tires on balancer to check balance but also while there spinning what the tire for flat spots in theme make sure the look most dont they just balance but tires can have flat spots in the tread and still balance out on machine. its one of two hub or tires my guess would be one of the tires has flat spot in it or under weight the hub is unstable . i hope this helps
