Have a 2003 caravan. when the headlights were turned on, the brake lights came on and stayed on, so you couldn't tell if I was hitting the brake or not. Try a redundant ground, see if it helps? The black wire is ground. Just take a jumper wire for testing, splice into the black wire, ground at a clean metal spot. Maybe you can find a bolt or screw close and ground it there, as long as it is clean and metal, it should ground. If ground is the problem?

SOURCE: AC on Caravan

you have either a bad blower motor resister or a bad blower motor. the resister is located in the heater box close to the blower motor.

SOURCE: Headlights don't work.

There is a circuit breaker inside the headlight switch body. It gets weak over time and use. The breaker is actually mentioned in the owners manual. A new switch is about $75.00 at the local parts store. You must remove the front of the dash to change the switch. Mine would go off and then in about 30 seconds reset and the lights would come back on. I would be driving down the road with my headlights flashing as the circuit breaker opened and closed. New switch = problem fixed.

2000 caravan headlights stay on. And no tail lites but brake lites and turn signals still work and horn beeps randomly on its own.

Replace the turn signal switch. All exterior lights run threw it, except the high mount brake light. The horn also. If the head light switch is on the handle, this should take of it also. If the headlight switch is in the dash, you might have to replace it also if they stay on.

On my 2003 Ram 1500 4x4 the brake lights come on when I turn on the headlights and will not go off. Sometimes I can get them to shut off by shutting off the headlights and turning them back on, howeve

My guess is the plastic light housings have melted and now your lights act funny. They just don't make them like they used to. Get some factory ones at your local salvage yard or buy some aftermarket light housings that won't melt.

Check to make sure all bulbs are lighted and none are burned out, Check all light side, parking, brake, turn signal, headlight, bright and dim, interior lights, fog lights. 4-way flashers

Well my grandpa 2003 dodge caravan has a issue. i know that the light hav to turn on if you open the door but shouldnt it turn off when you shut the door? why is this problem happening please help as soon...

Yes the lights should turn off automatically when you close the door IF you don't have the light switch on inside the car.

If the light switch is on the lights will stay on. Tell grampa the internet said hi.

The Dodge caravan 2003 headlight, brake lights and dashboard light turn on even if the van is off.

I would disconnect the headlight switch first.
That's about the only thing that controls all three circuits.
