Why do you think its off, , eyes on marks? or strobe light or? what?
old oil turns black , on purpose. so it dont fill the engine full of gunk.
dont run oil for 5k miles. 3k on high mileage engines. max.

the belt can fail because >
1: over 60kmiles?
2: not a gate belt but in fact a fleabay-china $5 belt.
3: cam cog bent.
4: someone set the tension wrong, (top cause , RTM)
5:oil leaks to belt , belt dies early death.
6: running no cover, or cover is cut to ribbons, letting sand and gravel kill the belt in short order
7: spraying belt with belt dressing, bad to the bone that.
8:: im sure there are are other ways to kill it early, but i give up.
9: oops one more , the last joker, failed to put the head to block guide pins back, now the 2 cogs are misaligned, and belt dies. early.

seem all ways, ask me...
what engine, there are many used, over the world on RAV4.

my guess
2.0 L 3S-FE I4 (petrol)
2.0 L 3S-GE I4 (petrol)

2000 toyota solara 2.2L, how can i find the oil leak inside the timing belt cover?

Remove front cover on timing belt cover. Clean it. It could be the cam shaft seals leaking or crankshaft seal that could be damaged and throwing out oil.

That has the big serpentine belt and a tensioner. Check the tensioner and the idler pulley.

Serpentine belt keeps coming off

With the belt on. Look at it inline with it. Every pulley should be inline/straight. If one is slanted just a little it will throw the belt. The only other thing would be the tensioner is bad.

I have a possible major issue My 2006.5/2007 Kia Optima Please Help its throwing up a P0011 Code Meaning Advanced Camshaft Timing?

If the engine makes rattling noise too then your timing chain tensioner may need to be checked. Slacked chain will alter camshaft timing. Check timing marks to confirm that the chain has not jumped one or two sprocket teeth.

My 1990 dodge dakota keeps throwing its belt

If you are not using a new belt, go get a new one. Belts stretch out over time.

If you are using a new belt, look at the part number on the belt and write it down. Take that down to an auto parts store and ask them for a belt between half-an-inch to an inch smaller. Replacing your alternator bracket may have changed the position of the alternator pulley in relation to the other routing points. Since it is throwing the belt, the stock belt is now too large, and you should try the next size down.

Ford transit 2.4 turbo diese keeps throwing serpentine belt ? any

Most common problem is the tension-er pulley is bad remove the belt and check to see if any pulleys have play in them see if they wiggle back and forth normally the idler pulley bearing wears out and causes the belt to ride at a slight angle marking it throw off the belt. hope this helps.

Timing or ecu throwing a code

easiest way to check for a broken timing belt is to look into the oil fill hole on valve cover and have someone crank engine. see if you can see the cam move. if not moving, timing belt is broken. if it is moving it is not broken but still may be off a tooth or more. at that point you will need to remove timing covers and check timing marks. these cars are very simple and you can learn alot by spending 20 bucks on a basic haynes type repair manual.
