You have a slow drain of power inside the car wiring. It could be a relay sticking closed, a short to ground somewhere, or a component using power when it should be switched off like a courtesy lamp.
The fuses have to be pulled to find the circuit with the drain.

When you shut the car off something is staying on in the vehicle, causing a current draw on the battery, causing it to go dead over night. something that would cause this would be like a under the hood light, trunk light, interior light staying on. visually check it. and if you don't find anything you might want to buy a fluke/ volt meter, to check for unwanted current draw when the vehicle is off. your local mechanic could help. it could become more extensive then this but most likely not by the sounds of it.

New battery keeps going dead when car shut off overnight

Sounds like a slow drain - like a dome light or short in the wiring.
If the battery stays charged when it is disconnected, you'll have to check for a power drain in the car.

Just a couple problems I've had. dome light left on due to faulty door open switch, spot light charger or equipment left plugged or wired to battery, lately I thought I had a bad battery but I just need to clean the terminal connections. One more thing if your car is running you can pull the negative cable off the battery. If the car dies your alternator could be the problem. If you have a light in the trunk or under the hood you could pull the bulb out to make sure you don't have a faulty switch turning them on. These are kind of simple and that is the way I start out.

Help! Changed battery but still don't work for a long time

you probably have a short in the amplifier under the driver's seat. I had the same problem. Bought mine used, but the amp had water damage due to the vents for it on the left side of the driver's seat letting in water, probably snow or something that fell in there. Was $1200 to replace. Basically your car will be fine for a couple weeks, maybe a month then the battery will die.

yes. You just need an honest, qualified mechanic. I'm not saying your last mechanic was not qualified, but any mechanic should know how to search and test for an unintended drain. Sounds like that is what you have.

Go on youtube and watch videos of "unintended, or parasitic drains"-there are hundreds of them. Any mechanic with a good multi-meter should be able to find it pretty quick-within an hour or two.
I wouldn't worry about the AC-your car is too old for it-too easy to have problems with a car that old, although if you have enough money, you can do anything. Just saying it would be expensive. The window problem is not an expensive fix, probably needs a new window motor. yours probably has worn brushes. The rear defroster is easy to troubleshoot with a multi-meter. Keep at it and you will have a good car.
