According to wikipedia, the 1st-generation Nissan Altima was offered from 1992-1997. We have a 1996 nissan altima and attached is a photo of the inside of our fuse box. I also found another page that gives the same info for the 1997. I am sure this diagram would work for the 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, or 1997 Nissan Altima.

Drill two access holes in the door frame,large enough for the tool you are going to use1/2 hole maybe.

If you don't hear the motor running anymore it has stopped working or jammed. If the motor is running it maybe something as simple as a track that needs replaced. You will need to open the door panel to find out and repair this. I recommend you get the Haynes repair manual to do this.

Unbolt the motor (bolts through inner door skin) and push window up by hand and hold up with piece of wood or something and unbolt from window through holes in door skin

hard to say without testing, but the master window switches are common and will stop the rest of windows working, make sure window lock switch if off
