SOURCE: Location of knock sensor on 1994 toyota 22vre engine

The Knock sensor on a 22re is located under the intake manifold on the engine block. to the upper left of the oil filter. With is the passenger side of the engine. I believe it is yellow in color. Not do be confused with the oil pressure sensor which is close by. The knock sensor has a larger electrical connector. Good luck it can be hard to get to.

SOURCE: I need the location of the coolant temerature sensor on a 99 taco

Its at the rear of the engine, close to the firewall. Look at the intake part of the engine block for 2 wires that connect into the sensor plug. It is installed vertically.

Where is iat sensor located on 2006 tpyota tacoma 4,ol ?

Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor and Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor are combined into a single assembly which is called Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. This MAF sensor is located on the air filter box near air filter hose, and is connected with a five wire connector. You cannot replace the IAT sensor alone. Instead a MAF sensor is replaced altogether.

Where is iat sensor on 2006 toyota tacoma 4.ol 4door located ?

This is the 2001-2012 Toyota Tacoma wiring diagram, Toyota Tacoma IAT (Intake Air Temperature) Sensor Location and the Toyota Tacoma MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor Location, also included is a pinout of the sensor. You are likely installing a performance chip or a cold air intake kit for increased HP (Horsepower). You will want to be sure to disconnect the car battery before adding performance products.

Here is the Toyota Tacoma's Iat sensor diagram:

is the engine knocking or detonation or pinging?
is engine running lean (i sure can ping, but the knock sensor rolls back(via pcm) all spark timing, so that ping ends.

why not post symptoms first with a question,

Automatic tranmission not working on overdrive, tacoma 2006

The knock sensor fault may be preventing the transmission from shifting to OD. The main engine computer also sends commands to the transmission computer. Your transmission valve body is controlled by electronics.

Where is the location of my knock sensor of my toyota rav4 2006

I am afraid I do not have information on this but knock sensors tend to be a couple of wires going to a screw in plug fitted directly onto the side of the engine block.

2006 Toyota Tacoma V6 engine oil sensor location

There is not enough flow at the sensor for a second oil filter. The sensor is at a dead end in the oil gallery. I recommend that you persue other options here. If you are concerned about oil contamination, don't be. There is nothing better than the factory filter...Look into adding more oil capacity; Look into an engine oil cooler; there is really no need for a second filter.
