Hi,
It sounds like the switches on the drivers door may have malfunctioned. You could try replacing the switches, but it may be easier to take it to a mechanic to diagnose the issue and replace the switches if needed. You could also check the wiring and connections to the switches to make sure they are all secure and connected properly.

Sounds like you may need a new indicator main beam unit, try spares 24/7 or Ebay I got new door mirror saved £100 including fitting new from Citroen garage £160 plus fitting.
you have a short in the wireing...easiest way is to put new piece of wire from bulb holder and connect it back into the harness further into the car...........
I'd call a GMC dealer and ask for the parts department. I'd ask about the availability and price of the driver's mirror turn signal bulb. That might tell you if that bulb is replaceable. You could also ask that same delaership's service department about the labor cost to replace the bulb. If the plastic cover below the mirror will not snap off, you would probably have to remove the mirror from the door and take it apart to replace the bulb. Depending on the friendliness of the GMC service or parts department , they might tell you what to do here.
remove the mirror glass then the mirror cover pull it stright up ( with some power) then just un screw the indicator u will need to replace all the indicator because they are LEDs
under the mirror there should be a 1 1/2 slot door under mirror that looks like a flat lid this will be flush with mirror moulding where it looks like a quarter can turn it
this is the light access panel the detachment screw is threw this panel to take off mirror then you can access the bulb
