No power to climate control panel

I have intermittent power to the climate control panel. I have to put my foot on the kick plate around the fuse panel and press until I get power to the climate control panel. I have checked all fuses and checked for loose cables. I can only get power to the panel by using my foot!!

SOURCE: Climate Control System Problem

The noise is most likely coming from a sticky temperature control blend door, ( they warp from heat, not an un-common issue) it is moved with a electric actuator. This is very expensive to fix, requires removal of the dash to repair, if the system works ok then if it was me I would "live with it".

SOURCE: Climate control stopped operating overnight during below freezing

Well last night I went under the hood, opened the fuse panel and removed the "Memory"/Audio fuse, in my car it was yellow and only pulled up, not out, it was a "20". I left it out for a few min, pushed the fuse back in and everything is fine now, just have to reset my clock.

Hope this helps all!

SOURCE: Driver's Side Power window control panel on door doesn't work.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. I took it to a mechanic who has the same vehicle and he said it was the switch in my driver side door panel. Not that big a deal, but a little costly and the switch has to be programmed by a dealer wich is BS. The mechanic put the switch on and it will work on all my other windows except my driver window. so good luck.

SOURCE: i have a 02 lincoln ls . the air conditiong is not

YOU COULD HAVE OPEN OR SHORT IN THE BLACK YELLOW WIRE GOING TO AC COMPRESSOR CYCLING PRESSURE SWITCH. CHECK FOR A SHORT OR OPEN IN RED YELLOW WIRES AT THE AC PRESSURE CUTOFF SWITCH. USE VOLT METER AND CHECK FOR VOLTAGE AT BOTH SWITCHES. PROBLEM COULD BE IN THE EATC MODULE THAT SEND POWER TO PURPLE WIRE THAT FEEDS THE AC PRESSURE CUTOFF SWITCH AND AC CLUTCH CYCLING PRESSURE SWITCH THEN FEEDS THE AC COMPRESSOR CLUTCH SOLENOID.

Climate control is dead?

It sounds like one of 2 things happened:
1. You blew a fuse, be sure to check the fuse panel
2. You knocked the power block to the climate control system loose. Check that the power block leading to the climate controll is tight into the control unit

I need to remove climate control panel in 95 linc towncar how do i remove it

First get a sledge hammer and some store bought lemon juice. Pour the juice into the crevices around the climate controls. Now get a sledge hammer and lightly tap the areas around the climate controls. Once it has loosened up, you can wedge your foot into the crevice for balance. You will need this as now you are going to hit the panel as hard as you can with the hammer. The panel should come right off. Hope this helps
