Uconnect will not reset and radio will not come on

Try disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes. If the radio does not come back after this "cold boot" it has failed internally. Go buy a pioneer with Bluetooth for 1/4 of the radio replacement cost.

Not all Chrysler products have uconnect; it may show the button on the radio, but if the uconnect system isn't installed you get the error you're getting; My Dodge Nitro is the same. There is no way to reset a radio in this condition. Take it to the dealer. There is a flash update that can be attempted but more than likely you need a new radio. I'm guessing you have a RA3 or RA4 radio. There is a known issue with 2013 MY radios.

did you RTM yet, the operators guide, and this dont work
and try other phones?
if it really is malfunctioning, then read the FSM for how to service it and not mess up all the other complex stuff. (no year stated so we cant really help you, sorry)
most new cars if you pull the battery , the NAV and Radio Brick.
do not pull the battery cable or end in radio code H3LL.

or get the car serviced any time the MAGIC fails or end up with bad magic and a car then dont run, right.
some cars have other calibrations that are lost at battery pull.

renew the radio for a aftermarket one ,yours has cooked a chip inside and its not repairable

My Uconnect is factory installed on my 2005 Dodge Truck. There are two control buttons on the rearview mirror for the uconnect. For a long time my uconnect would not fully function with my bluetooth phone and then lately it quite working most of the time. I did a bunch of research adn found this procedure to do a hard reset. After doing this the uconnect came back fully and all functions are working. I now this sounds stupid and you feel stupid doing it, but it did work for my vehicle.
1- Turn on ignition w/doors closed
2- Press both buttons on mirror for 15-20 seconds
3- Shut off ignition
4- Open door for 5-10 seconds
5- Close door and restart car, Uconnect is now reset
