Coolant getting into engine Most likely a blown head gasket.

yes if you mix two types of coolant they can become a very sudge lick compond and colect on the sensors that tell the computer the temperature of the coolant this could have bad effects on your engine i would flush and fill the transmission soon.
is the coolant low again, is the coolant leaking somewhwere,( find leak & fix)it is important that the engine has enough coolant or the repair bills can be enormous

look at your transmission for signs of puddling coolant on top of it. a common coolant leak is the black plastic flange that is attached to the side of the cylinder head on the drivers side of the engine above the transmission.
it the piece that has 3 big coolant hoses connected to it.
Probably still some left in the heater core. Should quit after a while, or try blowing it out. I would even flush it with water first. Better to have water leaking than antifreeze. At least your dog can lick it and not die!
