Holden rodeo. No pressure in clutch - 1993 Isuzu Rodeo

where does the clutch engage, right at the bottom of the pedal travel or right at the top ? if at the top the pressure plate is faulty, if right at the bottom it is the clutch plate that is worn. if it is a hydraulic system they have no adjustment.

adjust clutch freeboard so that the clutch engages approx 40-50 mm off the floor and that the pedal is at the same height as the brake pedal when not being used.

Have you used the correct fluid? If so did you bleed the slave cylinder?

I am in Aust, and the Holden rodeo manual if I can get it is about $495 .00 so I am looking at ... My problem is to do with fuel starvation in the 2-3000 rev range, and it isrunning as if it is missing, but it is not. ... I have been playing with the throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and could do with some guidance there.

possibly broken springs in the pressure plate,and or throwout bearing rattling,clutch disk could have gotten hot and warped as well,if it worse case possible input shaft the bearing could be shot.too many choices too list, but give you a place too start looking

No leaking? I don't know, but possibly your clutch master cylinder may be failing with an internal leak that doesn't allow pressure to build up at the slave cylinder. Or maybe the slave cylinder itself is bad.

2004 holden rodeo 3L ITD. dt P1120. Saying tps fault. Used scan tool to inspect data list an ECU is recieving signal perfect. Goes from 16% to 100%. Double checked TPS output from TPS plug and goes from 0.6v to 4v nice an smoothly. Im suspect on ECU because when i erased code and started engine it revved up to red line by itself but only did once. Any help would be great....

did you bleed the hydralic clutch system on this vehicle? = air in system or not bleed properly.
most of the flywheels for this model were not to be machined...... however it is ok to machine these only slightly but you must machine the surface the clutch plate contacts with the same amount as the outer raised section the pressure plate bolts to.
new flywheels have painted stamped writing saying do not machine...so if hydralic system is ok find out about flywheel.
also may pay to check clamping force of pressure plate most clutch places can do this or some workshops that is if fingers on pressure plate are all at the same height, not broken or cracked..

Have you tried bleeding the clutch. Is it losing fluid?
