If your model is equipped with traction control, the button on the console marked ETS turns it on and off. Page 4-10
The hazard flasher button is in the middle of the dash with a triangle symbol.
Check your owners manual for details.

SOURCE: passlock

While I've never had this issue, the fix is pretty easy:

  1. Turn car to ON position (without starting it)
  2. Leave in that position for 15-20 minutes
  3. Turn off.
  4. Start car.
This issue is with the PASSLOCK system in the car.

When do u use the traction control button on 2005 chevy equinox ?

Traction control is for safety. It reduces wheel spin. When it is turned on it is harder to lose control in slippery road conditions. Like doing donuts in the snow.

You need to power jet wash your tyres to clean the sensor at the back of the wheel.

What is the T/C button for in the glove box of a 2003 CTS cadillac?

This button is for the traction control, when you push it it will say trac off or trac on . this will be displayed on the dash, this is for better traction on snow or wet roads and it keeps the wheels from spinning out, hope this helps, look in your manual under traction control, good luck.

What is the T/C button on the dash?

Traction control controls spin in wheels on slippery roads. if you are stuck in snow or ice or on slippery road surface, try switching the traction control system off. this may allow excess wheel spin to dig the vehicle out.

ETS LIGHT CAME ON AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT 1997 chevy cavalier 2.4

ETS is Enhanced Traction System is used to stop wheel slip thru reducing engine output. And if the light is on it doesn't mean you will spend x amount of dollars to fix it! It just means that ETS has been disabled because you have a engine problem and the computer cannot reduce power to the wheels because the engine might stall so the computer disables the system! Now some cars come with a switch by the shifter that turns on and off the system because if you get stuck in the snow traction control will keep you from getting stuck

99 cobra traction control

Unfortunately thats just the way the traction control system works. My buddy's saleen hollywood does the same thing. Kind of pointless on a performance car. My advise is to turn it off before you enter the road. Just remember that everytime you start your car it will turn the system back on.
