So why not scan it.
Connect any scan tool
crank it for 5sec.
release key,
see those DTC's they tell you what part is bad, or a huge clue.
wires, you replaced them 1 for 1 or mixed them.??????? oops now 2 times bad.

but no spark is no spark, on ALL CYLINDERS>????
no SPARK?
which engine
2.0 L 3S-FE I4 (petrol)
2.0 L 3S-GE I4 (petrol)

this engine has a coil pack with 4 wires, never mix them. that wires.
and do check for spark at all 4 ends.
see the coil pak here, see those numbers there. they tell you
where to connect the wires.

this photo even shows, where they go.
if spark is gone, ITS SCAN TOOL TIME.
barrow one, rent one, buy one of $9 (off fleabay)

this ECU/PCM will in fact tell you if the CMP or CKP sensors
are dead. IT WILL.
if you dont believe me, unplug one and see, BAM, P0340 or 355 or?

SOURCE: bad stumble on acceleration pops through t- body.

Sounds like the fuel pressure regulator. Could also be that the timing jumped. But I'm leaning towards the pressure regulator. Hope that I could help. Best wishes.

SOURCE: changing spark plug wires in 1998 camry

You aer not clear about your problem, when replacing plugs and wires all the boots need to stay in place, the larger boot goes around the spark plug, making sure the metal is secure around the tip of the plug, the oppisite end fits the distributer cap, making sure the metal at the end of the wire is securely in the hole. You said you have 3 boots, you should boots for each end of each plug wire and a plug wire for each spark plug

SOURCE: check engine light flashing already

It could be a bunch of things, any oxygen sensor, cam position sensor, crank position sensor, air inlet temp, any of these things will trip off the engine light. You have to get your car to the parts store and get the scanner on it and see what codes come up, you can replace parts forever and not hit it. Save your old parts, they are probably still good. Coil packs are expensive. Check it out, hope this helps.

Coil troubleshooting

Change your coil wire, move the rubber boot further down onto the coil. Faulty coil even if new is a possibility. Imagine someone accidentally dropping and running over it with a forklift at the factory. Some workers would just pick it up, and package it anyways. Always the possibility of anything "new" being bad from the factory.

How do you know if your spark plugs are the problem?

bad spark plug or bad wire will cause one cylinder not fire cause engine to surge.but change spark plugs and wires, if engine still surge have fuel filter changed, check fuel pressure weak fuel pump will cause engine surge.if you see check engine light flashing code scan for faulty TPS SENSOR OR FAULTY FUEL INJECTOR OR BAD IGNITION COIL.FAULT IN THE PCM.

Car stop running just cut off.could it be the starter.

No the starter has nothing to do with your car staying running you should check fuel issues fuel pump injectors regulators. Also most likely check ignition components spark plugs spark plug wires distributor cap and rotor or coil if equipped either or and check coil pick up sits underneth coil packs i would go to advanced auto parts and they can check coil pick up and coils or you can by pulling out spark plug and putting it back in wire set spark plug next to engine block if you see blue spark coil is good if orange bad not hot enough to ignite gasoline. is your check engine light on if so get codes read for free at autozone or advanced auto could also be crankshaft postion sensor or camshaft postion sensor lmk if it helps. if it helps please leave 4 star reviw and good comment thanks

No spark

There's no emergence switch, if there was it would only be for fuel and not spark, there four thing to get spark,
ignition control module, ignition coil, distributor pick up assembly and spark plug wire's check for spark at coil, more then likely it's going to be your distributor pick up assembly, the pick up sit in side your ignition distributor, replace it and it will start, hope this was very helpful.

Won't start , electrical problem ?

Not sure on the 04 model, however I have had to change the PICK UP coil which is different from the main coil. The engine ran and then just stopped like I turned it off and would not start.
Check to see if you have a Pick UP coil that may be out.
