Sounds like ya starter is locked up or frozen you can contact chrysler and see if they got a part for it or a local auto shop might be best to go to autozone they can diagnose the starter to see if its working or not

Had this yesterday on a 94 Voyager we were given. Disconnected the starter power wire (follow the red wire from the battery down). Cleaned terminal on starter, re-attached, started fine

SOURCE: mini van wont start

Sounds like starter selanoid, but first make sure battery connections are clean and tight, if sure they are then turn on headlights and try to start if still clicks and lights dim its starter.

SOURCE: chyrsler grand voyager wont start just clicks HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do you mean by bump started? The lights and radio can work, but the battery may be too weak to crank the engine over. The best thing to do would be to drive it to a parts store, where most offer free check of battery and charging system (if you can drive it. If not, 1st remove battery and bring in for testing). The click you hear is classic low battery symptom, although it can be other things. So, 1st get the free test, and post results back here. How old is the battery? (and answer 2 questions!) Thanks

has it got an immobiliser / if so there is a fault there. If not an ignition switch itself.

have you checked the alternator.? what relays are clicking thinking injector and fuel pump relays. also fuel pump fail will make engine not run or will run for a second or 2. on the injection line you will find a valve push this down if fuel squirts out then this is not the problem. but its more likely to be no fuel and you have flattered the battery. so it will need a good charge.

My 2006 buick lacrosse wont start radio and lights work but its not saying nothing when i try to crank it

Hello! Do you hear a click when the key is turned?...If no click is heard either the ignition key, the Crank relay, the starter, or the battery are suspect...Having lights and radio does not mean the battery is capable of running a starter motor......Put a meter on the battery...should read 12.5 volts...Turn key...Does voltage drop to 8 or 9 volts? Bad battery...If all is well with battery and connections to it...Check the starter fuse # 33 in the under hood fuse/relay box...If the fuse is good that click you should hear is from the Crank Relay in that box...If all of the above is OK connect your meter to the Purple wire that is connected to the starter motor...When the key is turned 12 volts must be on that wire...If there is the starter motor is defective...So, #1...Do you hear a click when key is turned...That would point at a bad starter or weak battery...#2...If you do not hear a click bad fuse #33, bad Crank Relay, bad ignition switch...#3...If fuse is good Bad Crank Relay or Ignition switch; Crank Relay is a low cost item ($10)...Replace Relay...Stop there and send a comment as to results...Guru...saailer

2000 hyundai elantra alarm goes off where is the

There is NO kill switch on the 2000 Elantra... HOWEVER, there is a thing called the Key Fob (keyless remote entry system). There is, however, a system in place called the 'starter kill' circuit and it is activated when the burglar alarm goes off.... it's called the burglar alarm relay and it is activated to prevent the engine starter system from being used. There are three ways to get the engine started in such a circumstance... 1. use the key fob to 'disarm' the system... 2. put the key in the ignition and turn it to the 'RUN" position and wait until the alarm stops (horn stops beeping and the parking lights stop flashing), then the engine will start.... 3. pull the starter relay from the UnderHood junction box and bypass the starter circuit (key in ignition and in the 'RUN' position), jumper the starter solenoid circuit to energize the solenoid to start cranking the engine -- it should start then.
