we check fuel pressure at the fuel rail .
if good, the pump is good.

this is used on our tundra. but that dont help ,as yours may have
different EFI , in your country.
you should get the FSM for your car and your country.
on the trundra we must pull the tank to get the pump out.
draining fuel and lots of labor for nothing...
why do that.
we just attach the fuel pressure gauge at the fuel rail
and check pressure,
in fact we do all 6 tests listed in the FSM.
:shut tests. presssure tests. , and regulator test , and leakdown test.
and injector balance tests.
most can not be done, right back aft as you are working the front.

some factories save $5 by not having a test port.

do research online for your fuel rail needs and adapter.
i must have tool to do the injector balance test.
impossible to do unless you have 2 people. 1 under car
and one at rail.
