I have a 2004 Chevy Classic. Went to roll the driver side window up today and it won't go up. Went to a "mechanic", said it was the window motor, another "mechanic" said it wasn't. How to I get the window up (it all the way down)? I'm trying to get the door panel off and I can't? What do I do?
I think you should go for repair manual first. After that you can easily repair your car by yourself.I had visited this site past 2 months before for my vehicle and find it quite helpful may be you will also get something useful here. They offer cheap prices and also discount too Chevy Malibu 2004 2008 Factory Service Workshop repair manual

If neither switch works it is a bad connection at the motor or bad ground or a bad motor. Remove the door panel unplug the motor push the switch and see if there is 12volts on the wires if there is the motor is bad There are small brushes in the motor that go bad tap on the motor while pushing the switch if it works that way replace it

Try spraying silicone lube (generously) down the felt tracks on either end, as well as up sides, and see if that helps. Work window up & down.
SOURCE: what fluid readings show up on panel
that is the low coolant warning, these sensors are noted for false readings, so if the coolant is ok then replace the low coolant sensor in the radiator side tank.
