You are going to have to drain the tank and flush everything out! If it has been turned over and taken the DEF fluid into the fuel system then you will need to crack the injector lines loose and run clean fuel through them then bleed all the air from the lines before starting it! DEF fluid is very corrosive and could damage the injectors and injector pump if not taken care of in a quick manner!

There is a tank that is along the frame rail and it hold DEF (diesel Exhaust Fluid) when the tank is almost empty, you get that message to fill it. 5.3 gallons is what it holds and it gets 1300 miles to the gallon.
"How do I get the air out of my hydraulic system"?
Remove the reservoir plug on the motor pump. Leave the plug out and do not put back until you have finished.
Fill the reservoir 3/4 full with fluid (to the bottom of filler plug hole). Put a rag under the hole to catch overflow that will occur as system fills.
Run the pump for 15-20 seconds. Stop. Check your fluid level and refill to bottom of filler hole. Continue running the motor in the same direction for an additional 15-20 seconds. When the top gets to the end of cycle, check your fluid level, fill to bottom of filler hole, and run the motor in the opposite direction.
You are literally running the top all the way up and down sereral times. Checking the fluid level as you go and fill as required, leaving reservoir 25% empty.
When you are no longer able to add fluid, put the top in the down position. Check the fluid level one last time, should be to bottom of filler hole. Put the plug into reservoir.

I believe the warnin light symbol your are referring to is the low brake fluid warning. If the wave and the filled in area is at the bottom 1/3 of the circle. Check the brake fluid in the reservoir to see if it is low. Many times if it is low, the light will come on when slowing down, and go off when accelerating because the fluid is sloshing around. If it is low, then have the system checked for leaks. Leaking rear wheel cylinders is a common cause for low fluid. Also low front brakes pads can cause the system fluid to be low.
Hello dbrunner. Your brake fluid is low. In the master cylinder there is a float level that turns on a switch when it is low and turns on the brake light. When going down a hill the fluid runs to the front of the reservoir and the level drops turning on the light. Fill with DOT3 brake fluid only. Anything else will ruin the braking system. Also may be a good idea to have your braking system inspected for leaks and brake wear.
The rear windows are controlled by a timer in the top's ECU. If the
rear windows stop fully closing before your top is closed, the problem
MAY be with top's hydraulic system.
Check your top's hydraulic
reserve tank for low fluid level. Lack of fluid will greatly delay
the top's closing sequence, leaving those rear windows partially
open. Your top's hydraulic pump system is located beneath the right side of
the cubby/storage box behind the front seats. Raise the cover and
you'll see a removable trim panel on the right side. The pump is
behind that access panel.
You can use power steering fluid to top
off the tank, but don't fill it above level indicator line. You
may have to add more fluid after you cycle the top up and down to
get the air bubbles out of the lines. It could also be a relay. On a 95 the relays that are in the trunk above the battery. Perhaps,
just switching the relays might prove which one is failing..
The Light is on because the ABS system for your Anti-Lock Brakes has failed....the Brakes will still work...but the ABS wont...basically if you slam on the brakes... you will lock up your tires as if it were an older model car before ABS came out. The most probable cause is a wheel sensor that "Counts" the notches on the wheel axle near the knuckle has failed. Could just be dirty...mis-adjusted or broken.i would need more details to determine the exact cause. Hope this helps.
