Unable to remove bolts for 18983 280zx driveshaft

Hopefully you haven't rounded them off. They should be 12mm NUTS that you are trying to get loose, not bolts. With a good quality open end wrench and managing to fully seat the wrench on the nut (spray a little WD40 on the threads) you can put a fairly large and long screw driver or better, pry bar through the center of the "u" joint. Position the wrench so there is some room for rotation. Put the screw driver or pry bar through the ujoint of the drive shaft to keep it from allowing it to turn while youre applying force to the wrench. Turning the nut in a "counter clockwise" direction" it should come loose. In some cases, if your lucky, you can get a box end wrench on the nut, which is even better because it won't slip off or round the nut. Have fun

1997 GMC Jimmy 4.3. It runs great. I will drive it for 30-45 min and then it will die on me. All dash lights will come on just like if you turn the key on and not start the engine. It will restart and then...

When the engine dies do the accessories such as radio, lights, heater all die along with the engine; or do they keep running as they were prior to the stall?
If they all quit together (as if the key was shut off) I would check the electrical part of the ignition switch or the battery cables and connections (check both ends of cables and little ground wire near battery that connects to car body). The ignition switches are a well known culprit in the s10's.

If the radio and lights keep running after the stall, I would look at the crank position sensor, ignition coils etc.

Good Luck!

Brake lights stay on even when ignition is turned off.

This happens when the brake light switch is out of adjustment or broken. It is mounted on the brake pedal rod just above your foot. Check to see if the nut has come loose on it and it backed off making the brake lights stay on. To repair it shove the switch towards the rod and snug the nut down. If it keeps doing this then the threads on the switch are stripped and need replaced. Very easy to repair. Feel free to ask me any questions if you run into a problem, Rich

The spindle nuts on my chevy suburban seem to have been disformed to keep them from coming off. How do I get them off?

The nuts are what they call swedged from the factory. This is as you stated how they keep them from coming off. You just remove them as you normally would with a ratchet and socket, or impact wrench if you have air. They will be fairly tight coming off all of the way. The nuts are supposed to work this way and are re-usable.

Oil light keeps coming on and beeps

This is the pressure light, nothing to do with the oil needing to be being changed, you have low oil pressure being indicated, this will destroy the engine if the light is really indicating low oil pressure, have the oil pressure tested with a mechanical test guage at a shop, if the oil pressure is ok then replace the oil pressure light sending unit.
