I don't understand all the acronyms. buy the FSM? The TCm, The PCM? Help?
sorry, all this is ASE jargon, car parts, Factory service manual, Transmission control module, and Power train control module , no tech types all that out everytime. the FSM covers all this, or go to alldata.com or google it. ill now look yours up. (why do you need to know?) on all cars, this is the one module with the most wires. huge number, a clear, give away if ever. on newer cars, start i engine bay. back in 1997 the ECM became the PCM because the moved the TCM into the insides of the ECU. (causing the name to change and is still PCM now) ok, im online now and in the Virtual FSM , on PCM pull. its like I said in the enigne bay. ok here goes , ill not list all steps to pull it, many steps. but will say open hood, on the left side of engine bay (drivers seat perspective, see top strut tower? in front of that is the BIG BOX that on top of that is the PCM, see huge wire connectors there, bingo. see this link, see this photo see the vented box, see those aluninum box inside shinning, that is MR. PCM. best practice is to leave it totally alone, if you have issues, post them or scan the PCM and get the DTC codes.......................http://images.gtcarlot.com/customgallery...
