Currently, I'm not getting any heat in the car because there's no air coming through the vents. I know the radiator itself is fine because as I get going I can feel the heated air from the engine come through the vents. When I go to turn on the heat, however, nothing happens. Doesn't matter if it's on defrost, dash vent, high or low setting, nothing happens. This has been happening on and off for about a week, where the fan wouldn't work, and as I got going, the fan would suddenly kick on. Sometimes it kicked on again if I turned the car off and then back on. But, I haven't been able to get it to come back on for the past two days. I'm thinking the blower fan is shot.
SOURCE: a/c problems
most probable cause.. blower motor resister. & vaccuum leak to control blend doors or electrical actuator for blen door
SOURCE: Heat or air only comes out from window defrost.
try changing your whole heater switch unit that should work
SOURCE: a/c blower issue. 2202 chevy trailblazer
your blower resistor bad or the blower motor control switch is bad. no air flow from top vent make sure vent open.because you can manual adjust them not to blow air on you.if all is good.you have leaking vacuum hose or vacuum actuator.or air door stuck.the AC and HEATER control switch.is bad.its not allowing vacuum to open air door.
SOURCE: The fan/blower only works on the high setting.
It probably is the fan switch itself. They are around $30. for a new one. You can take it out and check to see if you have power to all the settings with a ohm meter or test light. They are not real hard to take out.
SOURCE: 04 silverado a/c, htr. controls. Only blows through defrost vents
sounds like your door blend actuator which is under the dash and a pain in the **** to replace
