Hi I am Vortash.. it could mean that somewhere on your exhaust system there is a leak basicaly and that this leak is throwing your c02 readings out . Now it could be your Catalytic converter or it may be your o2 sensor it may even be your manifold gasket , best thing to do is a general tighten up of all clamps and , check around the maniold for signs of blowing ( black sooty deposits ) if you find them replace the manifold gasket .. check the o2 sensor and have the readings done again if they are the same then your probably looking at replacing the Cat , regards Vortash

What do I when my 98 volvo s70 2.4L engine has trouble codes po133 & po442?

Po133 is and oxygen sensor code. Replace the front oxygen sensor use a bosch or OE sensor only. P0442 is and evap system leak. Most common fault is a cracked hose at the evap cannister at the right rear of the car.

I NEED A HEATER HOSE DIAGRAM FOR MY 98 VOLVO S70 T5 TURBO PRIOR OWNER BYPASSED THE HEATER THANK YOU JAMES CUMMINGS

You will likely need the heater hose junction (Volvo p/n 3522035) since it always leaks and it connects the heater core to the heater hoses on the firewall. The kit usually contains the retaining clips, but not the O-rings to connect to the heater core. You will also need the outlet and inlet hoses (9186847 and 9186849). The length, angles and configuration of these hoses will help you understand their orientation in the engine bay. They can only go on one way. Else, they won't connect to the pipes from the engine.

Both radiator hoses are hard why 98 s70 volvo turbo

It has been my experience that both radiator hoses get hard with age, check the hoses for age and cracking because they usually are hard right before they give out. They get hard when they get old due to excessive oil covering because of an oil leak and heat from the engine and the coolant within the hose.

P0455 evap control system gross leak detected on 1998 volvo s70

The code means the computer tried to vent the gas tank and found a huge leak in the vent system. Issue could be a faulty gas cap, leaking gasket on the gas tank, or broken line from the tank to the vapor canister.

How much does it cost to replace my volvo s70 1999 lifters?

Well my Volvo s70 radiator was leaking, especially on cold days. They replaced the entire radiator. Than bulb burned out, clock misbehaving - had alternator and battery checked - turned out OK, I was told noise was caused by valve lifters. The whole repair took $734 that I took through <a href="http://ameriloansearch.com/cash-advance-loans/same-day-cash-advance-with-instant-approval.html">same day payday loans</a>. The problem disappeared after they changed oil and used an additive. Alternator bearing is now starting to make a noise. Both shop and I finally agreed we should wait until it gets much worse before spending the big money to fix it.

The odometer reading disappeared on my '98 Volvo S70.

Have you found anything out. I brought my volvo in to have the battery replaced and when I picked it up I noticed the odometer was blank (no -----) just blank. I was told it was not related and probably just a bulb. Not a bulb I have no idea. I don't want to replace the cluster unless I'm sure what have you found out. (all my other gauges are fine speed, tach, trip fine)
